My first two Sungold tomatoes are ready for a salad, and there are bunches and bunches more to come. Mmmm.

More Robins in Residence

The baby robins are here. I thought they were because of the way the parents were behaving; day before yesterday I got a glimpse of them.

End of Center Building

I'm posting a series of pictures of the Center Building on the old Topeka State Hospital grounds. It is in the process of being demolished (they are gutting the inside now). I have a series of color pictures and a series of B&W, and may have some sepia-tone at some point.

End of Center Building

This particular picture (above)--I was watching the workers when I saw first one, then two, and finally five vultures soaring over the building. It was amazing. It felt very much like they were attending the death.
