There are flowers in the driveway. Namely, these:
These lovely little blue flowers that some might call weeds, I believe are Veronica, possibly V. persica. At any rate, they are tough as hell, staying green under the snow all winter and returning to life in the Spring with these lovely tiny blue flowers.
And this would be the Monarda plant I was given last year at the Akin Prairie Wildflower Walk. It's from Douglas County but now resides in my yard in Topeka, and neither I nor the wild winter succeeded in killing it. That's my kind of "garden."
